About the Role

We are looking for a full-time SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) intern based in Mumbai (IIT Bombay), with potential promotion to full-time position after 3 months based on performance. The candidate will be responsible for testing and validating our AIpowered software platform, ensuring high reliability across clinical trial support tools, biomarker discovery workflows, and hospital-deployed versions.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining automated test frameworks for backend APIs, frontend components, and data workflows.
• Validating file system integrations (local/cloud) with attention to data privacy and security
• Working with developers and data scientists to define robust QA pipelines
• Setting up continuous testing in CI/CD systems
• Simulating real-world workflows and validating deployment logic
• Logging bugs, analyzing root causes, and driving quality improvements

Compensation:

The stipend will be in the range of ₹20,000–₹40,000/month, depending on skill set and aligned with industry standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• UG/PG in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related discipline
• Basic experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Pytest, Selenium, Postman, Playwright)
• Understanding of web application architecture and REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• A strong eye for detail and edge cases
• Motivation to explore clinical, biotech, or healthcare-oriented workflows
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Clear documentation and communication skills

Nice to have:

• Prior experience with healthcare/clinical trial software testing
• Understanding of GCP/AWS and containerized environments (Docker)
• Experience with performance or load testing
